Lynx Software Technologies Enters into Agreement to be Acquired
SAN JOSE, Calif. - May 4, 2022 – Lynx Software Technologies (“Lynx”), a developer of open architecture software solutions for embedded computing systems, today announced it has entered into a definitive agreement to be acquired by affiliates of OceanSound Partners, LP (“OceanSound”). OceanSound is a growth-oriented private equity firm that invests in technology and technology-enabled services companies serving government and enterprise end markets. Financial terms of the transaction are not being disclosed.
Following the closing of the proposed transaction, OceanSound’s strategic investment and partnership will enable Lynx to continue to build on its legacy of delivering differentiated embedded software solutions for the aerospace, defense, and industrial end-markets while further optimizing and accelerating its growth potential. In addition, the Lynx management team will retain a significant ownership interest in Lynx.
Under the terms of the definitive agreement, an affiliate of OceanSound will merge with Lynx, subject to the consent of Lynx’s stockholders.
