Our 3-Year Growth Story

Lynx has rapidly evolved from a respected RTOS vendor into a global edge computing powerhouse. With over 300 employees, 12 worldwide locations, and trusted deployments across hundreds of aircraft, drones, and space systems, we’re redefining how safety-critical and mission-critical systems operate at the edge.

From 50 to 300+ Employees

Lynx has evolved from a niche RTOS company into a global leader in secure edge computing. What started in 2022 as a 50-person team focused on real-time systems has grown into a worldwide force of over 300 employees, powering innovation across avionics, defense, and beyond.

We’ve built an end-to-end solution for organizations developing and deploying high-integrity edge applications for CPU and GPU systems, and as demand keeps growing, so do we.

That’s 600% growth since 2022. Here's how we got there.

Driving the Future of Engineering Delivery at Lynx

As demand grows for secure, safety-critical software across Aerospace, Defense, and Industrial markets, Lynx is strengthening its delivery engine.

We’re excited to welcome Rabih Maalouf as our new SVP of Engineering and Delivery. A global R&D leader with deep expertise in embedded systems and cloud-native platforms, Rabih will align product, services, and support to accelerate customer success.

Strategic Acquisitions That Supercharged Our Platform
With the support from investment firm OceanSound Partners, Lynx underwent a series of strategic acquisitions that transformed us from an operating environment software company to a turnkey edge computing solution provider to mission- and safety-critical system providers.
ACQUISITION

CoreAVI

The industry’s leading provider of safety-critical graphics libraries, CoreAVI uniquely empowers the integration of graphics processors into highly regulated aerospace and defense systems. Following our acquisition of CoreAVI, our solutions are purpose-built to meet the most rigorous industry certification standards, enabling developers to confidently deploy advanced visual and compute capabilities in mission- and safety-critical environments.

By supporting both graphics rendering and GPU compute at the edge, we unlock real-time data processing, AI, and other compute-intensive functions in harsh, resource-constrained settings. This approach accelerates development, reduces cost and complexity, and minimizes certification overhead, delivering high-performance capabilities exactly where they’re needed most.

From RTOS to Multicore Orchestration Platform

We listened to what our customers needed: open, flexible architectures free from vendor lock-in. So we built a platform that supports:

  • Bare-metal applications
  • Multiple operating systems
  • Open-source and third-party toolchains

And we solved the multicore problem. Where others rely on centralized control, our architecture gives each application its own kernel space and direct access to specific CPU cores. No bottlenecks, no slowdown. This resulted in higher performance, lower power draw, cooler system temps, and true multicore scalability.

Security, Graphics, and Dev Tools, Built In

We’ve pre-integrated a best-in-class stack so you don’t have to:

  • LYNX MOSA.ic® and CoreSuite™ 2.0 for orchestrating CPU & GPU workloads
  • Native support for embedded Linux
  • Third-party tools built in:
    • Percepio Tracealyzer – Real-time debugging
    • RunSafe Protect – Cyber hardening
    • AIT ARINC 615 Loader – Data loading compliance
    • AdaCore – For safety-critical Ada development

It’s all integrated, ready to deploy on day one.
