Scaling with Discipline: Welcoming Rabih Maalouf as SVP of Engineering and Delivery

by
Lynx

At Lynx, we build the software platforms that power the most critical systems on, and beyond, Earth. As demand for safety-critical, cyber-resilient, and certifiable software accelerates across Aerospace, Defense, and Industrial markets, so must our ability to deliver with consistency, velocity, and trust.

That’s why we’re excited to welcome Rabih Maalouf as our new Senior Vice President of Engineering and Delivery, responsible for aligning product development, services engineering, and customer support under a unified mission: deliver outcomes that matter.

RabihA Global Leader in Engineering Execution

Rabih brings more than 15 years of global engineering leadership experience, most recently as Vice President of Worldwide Engineering at Wind River, where he led R&D across real-time operating systems (RTOS), cloud infrastructure, and IoT platforms.

His background in embedded systems, cloud-native transformation, and scaled R&D operations makes him uniquely equipped to drive Lynx’s delivery mission, ensuring our products and services meet the complex needs of regulated, performance-critical programs across defense aviation, autonomous vehicles, and industrial automation.

“Engineering delivery is more than building features, it’s about enabling customer success, system safety, and mission outcomes. That’s the opportunity I see at Lynx.”
Rabih Maalouf, SVP Engineering and Delivery

Aligning Product, Services, and Support

As Lynx expands its reach, from MOSA-compliant operating platforms to AI-enabled edge devices, digital twin infrastructure, and managed services, Rabih will lead the charge to:

  • Unify product, services, and support teams into one delivery-focused organization
  • Drive quality, predictability, and reusability in how we engineer systems for high-assurance domains
  • Accelerate time-to-value for customers across both program and corporate-level engagements
  • Build scalable, repeatable delivery patterns across platforms like MOSA.ic, Vigiles, VIE+EBF, and CoreAVI GPU stacks

His leadership comes at a pivotal moment, as we shift from project-by-project engagements to productized, cross-functional delivery models designed for long-term customer success and system evolution.

Why Engineering Delivery Is a Strategic Lever

In the sectors we serve, it’s not enough to ship code. We must deliver platforms that are:

  • Safe under the most demanding safety certification regimes (DO-178C, DO-356A, ISO 26262).
  • Secure against todays and tomorrow’s cyber threats.
  • Sustainable to operate and update across 10–20-year program lifecycles.

That’s where Rabih’s vision shines: engineering as a strategic lever for both product innovation and customer trust.

“Whether it’s launching a new UAV control platform, hardening a satellite system, or deploying a secure board farm, the way we deliver has to be just as modular, scalable, and resilient as the software we build.”
Rabih Maalouf

The Mission Ahead

From day one, Rabih is engaging across Lynx’s business units to implement delivery blueprints, refine DevSecOps practices, and optimize support operations. He’s also driving alignment with our product management, certification, and field engineering teams to ensure every deployment is engineered for success—whether on virtual hardware, in the lab, or at the tactical edge.

We’re excited to have Rabih on board—and even more excited for what this means for our customers, our partners, and the future of high-assurance computing.

Welcome to Lynx, Rabih. Let’s build what’s next.
