Lynx names VP of Marketing / Strategic Alliances and VP of Product Management

Lynx targets opportunities in safe and secure autonomous systems

San Jose, California, 6 January 2020  –  Lynx Software Technologies, an innovator in modern platform software technologies, today named Ian Ferguson as Vice President of Marketing and Strategic Alliances and Pavan Singh as Vice President of Product Management to strengthen its focus on delivering safety critical, autonomous systems for aerospace, defense, automotive, industrial and other markets. They join Keith Shea, who was named Chief Revenue Officer and Board Advisor by Lynx in December.

Ian Ferguson spent over ten years at Arm, where his positions included VP, Ecosystem Development, IoT Services Group; VP of Worldwide Marketing and Strategic Alliances and VP of Segment Marketing. As Director of Server Systems and Ecosystem his achievements included conceiving and implementing the initial energy efficient data centers. More recently, Ian has been consulting for a range of clients focused on technologies such as blockchain, machine learning and robotics. Other technical marketing experience includes positions at Arduino, Linaro, IDT and Motorola Semiconductor (now NXP)

Pavan Singh, Vice President of Product Management, will take responsibility for the Lynx product strategy and portfolio management including the Lynx MOSA.icTM framework announced at Embedded World in 2019. Pavan has spent more than 16 years in technology leadership roles helping companies unlock rapid growth. He was previously Senior Director, Product, IoT Edge at Wind River. Pavan is recognized as a thought leader in the Internet of Things and has consulted with start-ups and corporations on their digital transformation strategy. He also held leadership role in the IoT Solutions Group at Cisco Systems. He holds an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management, an MS from the Texas A&M University and Bachelor degree from the Indian Institute of Technology – Bombay.

The Lynx Executive Team operates under the leadership of Gurjot Singh. Lynx expands leadership team with board level appointments

San Jose, California, 16 December 2019  – Lynx Software Technologies, an innovator in modern platform software technologies, today announced an expanded leadership team with two new board members who will help direct the business as it supports customers in the delivery of a new generation of safety critical, autonomous systems. 

Keith Shea joins the Lynx Executive Team as Chief Revenue Officer and Board Advisor and Dr Flavio Bonomi joins as Board Advisor. The Lynx Executive Team operates under the leadership of Gurjot Singh, CEO. It also includes Will Keegan, CTO; Arun Subbarao, Vice President of Engineering; Ingrid Osborne, Vice President of Finance and Neeraja Vemulapalli, Vice President of Program Management and Quality.

Keith Shea, Board Advisor and Chief Revenue Officer, will be responsible for Lynx’s go-to-market and demand generation efforts, including: sales, marketing and partner ecosystem activities. Keith is a seasoned executive with extensive leadership experience in Sales, Marketing and Business Strategy. He was Vice President and General Manager of the IoT Solutions Business Unit at Wind River Systems where he was responsible for the company’s IOT SaaS business. Prior to Wind River, Keith spent more than a decade at Intel Corporation in corporate development, sales and marketing roles. 

Dr. Flavio Bonomi, Board Advisor, is a visionary, entrepreneur, and technologist who thrives at the boundary between applied research and advanced technology commercialization. He will work closely with Lynx management to identify potential new markets for Lynx technologies. Dr Bonomi is the co-founder, was the first CEO, and is now CTO of Nebbiolo Technologies, a Silicon Valley start-up, focused on delivering the power of Fog Computing to the Industrial Automation market and beyond. Previously, he was a Fellow, Vice President, and Head of the Advanced Architecture and Research Organization at Cisco Systems.

Lynx expands NXP processor support for its LynxSecure Separation Kernel Hypervisor

Completes port to NXP® QorIQ® Layerscape® 1046A processor

San Jose, California, Monday, 7 October 2019 – Lynx Software Technologies, an innovator in modern platform software technologies, today announced that it has expanded its LynxSecure® Separation Kernel Hypervisor support for Arm-based NXP Semiconductors processor architectures.

Lynx has ported LynxSecure onto the NXP QorIQ Layerscape 1046A (LS1046A) multicore communication processor integrating quad 64-bit Arm® Cortex®-A72 cores. LynxSecure support for NXP's LS1046A joins the already existing support for NXP S32V234™ MPSoC.

Commenting, Geoff Waters, Senior Principal Engineer at NXP Semiconductors and Chairman of the NXP- led Multicore for Avionics Working Group said, “Multicore architectures are seeing increasing adoption in avionics systems due to performance requirements and the lack of availability of single core processors. NXP is leading the way in enabling the adoption of multicore processors in safety critical design contexts.  The porting of LynxSecure separation kernel hypervisor technology is an important step forward. It offers an exceptional technology for managing the complexity associated with multicores, reducing the design and certification time for safety critical systems based on NXP Layerscape SoCs.”

Lynx makes key appointments to leadership team

Appoints VP Program Management and Director of Product Marketing, in parallel with expansion of core software engineering team

San Jose, California, 13 May 2019 – Lynx Software Technologies, an innovator in modern platform software technologies, has made key appointments to its leadership team and significantly expanded headcount at its headquarters in San Jose, California. Neeraja Vemulapalli joins Lynx in a newly created role as Vice President, Program Management and Quality, and David Beal joins as Director of Product Marketing. Lynx has also significantly expanded its core software engineering team to support program delivery.

David Beal joins from Xilinx, where he spent over seven years as Senior Product Manager, Embedded Products. David Beal brings over 25 years of embedded, field engineering and product management experience.
