Customer Challenge

A major U.S. defense prime's air mobility portfolio supports a family of mission-critical aircraft used for tactical airlift, strategic transport, commercial air freight, and maritime patrol. These safety-critical and mission-critical platforms, serving both U.S. Government and international customers, require continuous modernization and software sustainment. The customer also needed to evolve its engineering culture, moving from traditional waterfall execution toward repeatable, automated, and traceable software delivery across complex avionics baselines.

Lynx Solution & Capabilities

Lynx advances both technical automation and software-delivery process transformation across multiple avionics software programs. The team develops and maintains GitLab CI/CD pipeline automation for software build, test, and structural analysis activities. In parallel, Lynx helps the portfolio's teams transition from waterfall to SaFe Agile practices. Lynx is supporting iterative planning and execution, improved workflow visibility, repeatable quality checks, and stronger alignment across development, test, integration, and release.

This work draws on disciplined engineering practices, traceability, and configuration awareness appropriate to complex aerospace software environments, combining DevSecOps automation, CI/CD pipeline engineering, avionics software support, Agile transformation experience, and mission-systems awareness.
