Our growing customer base and product portfolio is expanding our US-based roles within our sales organization. Lynx is looking for highly motivated, experienced Sales Development Executives with a proven selling track record exceeding quota in a self-directed, self-managed, technical marketplace. This role reports to the VP of Sales and Marketing and responsible for identifying and accelerating pipeline opportunities via inbound web and outbound phone inquiries, driving participation to Lynx and third-party marketing events, and supporting corporate strategy initiatives. S/he will work closely with the regional sales teams to create account penetration plans to expand existing customer revenue and identify new market opportunities.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

A successful applicant will be responsible for the following tasks:

  • Identify and nurture new sales opportunities via outbound cold calls and inbound lead follow-up
  • As part of the sales team, work closely with sales executives to qualify and close existing revenue opportunities
  • Obtain quarterly quota for revenue, opportunities, and leads
  • Develop key accounts plans, including areas for incremental revenues, new design projects, key decision-makers, and customer education
  • Maintain the sales database (SalesForce) for follow-up, lead tracking, and pipeline development
  • Drive attendance in direct marketing and events
  • Schedule and conduct effective corporate and product presentations
  • Remain knowledgeable on Lynx Software Technologies’ products, roadmap, industry news, and competitive landscape
  • Occasional business travel

Desired Skills, Experience, and Attributes

  • 3+ years of demonstrated experience selling complex technologies to large enterprise, government, and key verticals
  • Self-starter with a history of prospecting in new markets without an established customer base
  • Dynamic, outgoing presence with strong interpersonal, communication, and presentations skills
  • Knowledge of mission-critical technology, aerospace and defense markets, and/or security is not required but strongly beneficial to the success of this role
  • Documenting and communicating field successes across the entire sales team, including peers
  • Ability to multi-task across customers and markets
  • Knowledge of Hubspot and Salesforce
  • Excellent written, verbal organizational, and communication skills
  • Reputation for integrity and business ethics, ability to build trust relationships across all levels
  • Interest in transitioning to a field sales role and training replacement
