The Corporate Controller is responsible for ensuring the efficient functioning of all accounting operations at Lynx Software Technologies. Working closely with the Chief Financial Officer, the Corporate Controller oversees critical financial processes including the month-end financial close, financial reporting, accounts receivable, purchasing, accounts payable, cash management, fixed assets, insurance, and tax compliance. This position is also responsible for overseeing the company’s annual financial audit and will participate in budgeting and forecasting.
As a member of our growing team, the Corporate Controller’s duties include, but are not limited to the following:
• Maintain accounting policies, in consultation with the Chief Financial Officer and external auditors
• Oversee, maintain, and document financial processes and systems of internal control
• Supervise month end close and financial consolidation of affiliated entities
• Meet private equity reporting deadlines and debt reporting requirements
• Direct the company’s cash management system, including maintenance of bank accounts and ensuring sufficient liquidity to meet operational needs
• Supervise the execution of the annual financial audit
• In cooperation with the company’s tax advisors, ensure compliance with all applicable taxes, including income, franchise, sales & use, payroll and other taxes
• Participate in merger & acquisition activities, including integration of financial operations and ensuring proper accounting treatment
• Supervise team of 4 direct reports
As a member of our growing team, the Corporate Controller’s duties include, but are not limited to the following:
• 10+ years of progressive finance & accounting experience, including at least 3 years in a managerial role
• C.P.A. or equivalent designation required
• Experience with financial process improvement, including process design and implementing best-in-class tools, is highly desired
• Experience with acquisitions, including integration of acquired companies and related accounting principles is preferred
